Be Honest

Your conviction or jail time will come up eventually, so go ahead and be totally honest and transparent. Your future employer will appreciate this. This will probably be your first step toward earning their trust. There may be some who will hold the past against you, but remember, they are not the only employers out there.

Learn Career Skills

During your job search use every opportunity you can to learn new job skills, career skills and job search skills.
